About Chantel Renée

With a foundation in both fashion and interior design, Chantel Renée brings a rare perspective to the art of creating spaces. She earned her degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, studied Accessories Design and Art at New York City’s renowned Fashion Institute of Technology, and later pursued Interior Design at the Art Institute of Charleston. She is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers.

For more than 14 years, Chantel built a career in New York’s fashion industry as an award-winning millinery and accessories designer. Her work appeared on runways and in collections for iconic names including Patricia Field and Cynthia Rowley, as well as for major brands such as The Gap and J.Crew. Known for her mastery of textiles, craftsmanship, and embellishment,

Chantel developed a design approach rooted in precision, creativity, and storytelling through material and form. Chantel’s fashion and textile background made her transition from the apparel industry to the field of interior design a natural one. With a knack for space planning and a strong understanding of construction, she has a unique talent for transforming environments. Her designs reflect a deep appreciation for meaningful and sentimental elements.

Her design philosophy emphasizes substance as much as aesthetics. Often incorporating art, photography, and heirlooms into her projects, she creates interiors that are personal, layered, and timeless.
